It started as a problem.

For years, I was trying to grow a longer, healthier beard — and kept running into the same issues most guys deal with: dryness, breakage, rough texture, and products that promised everything but delivered nothing real.

So I stopped chasing hype… and started building my own solution.

What began as a personal experiment turned into an 8-year process of refining a formula I used every single day. No shortcuts. No “miracle growth” claims. Just real results over time.

Because here’s the truth most brands won’t tell you:
Beard growth isn’t about magic products — it’s about consistency.

If your beard is properly conditioned, if the hair isn’t breaking, if the skin underneath is healthy… your beard has the ability to grow longer. That’s it.

That philosophy is what built Forge — the daily-use beard oil from Barbarous.

We’re currently in our first production run of 100 bottles — a small, controlled launch to build this the right way. No mass production. No cutting corners.
